These were Brendan’s motivations for engaging in five years of full-time study in applied science, osteopathy and complementary medicine.

Brendan joins our clinic from Canberra where he has been working under Dr BJ Field.

Vivienne is a highly qualified physiotherapist who is passionate about helping people optimise their health and get the most out of life. She appreciates the importance of looking at the whole body when treating, knowing the site of pain is rarely the only problem. After graduating as a physiotherapist in 2006 from the University of South Australia, she spent three years in the private hospital system, working in ante/postnatal care, rehabilitation, post surgical care, and ICU. She has since worked in private practice specialising in wholistic forms of treatment and women’s health.

Vivienne has undergone extensive training in craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, Mckenzie therapy, dry needling, and Muscle Energy Techniques (MET). She combines this with other physiotherapy hands on treatment techniques including trigger point therapy, soft-tissue release, joint mobilisation, posture assessment and exercise prescription.

Vivienne also has expansive knowledge in Clinical Pilates, Active Birthing techniques and has undergone training in Women’s Health physiotherapy for specialised pelvic floor assessment and management. She has undergone training with the Spinning Babies association to gain more knowledge on ways to promote optimal foetal positioning, reduced pelvic girdle pain and balancing out of pelvic and uterine ligaments.

Being a mum of two she has a special interest in treating women through out their pregnancy, and acute and long term postnatally. She appreciates the benefit of the range of techniques she has learnt, and how transformative they can be to the pregnancy and the birthing process.

As a young ballerina, Dianne became interested in the structure and function of the human body. This led her to commence a Bachelor of Sports Coaching and Exercise Science degree at the University of Canberra.

Dianne then completed a Masters of Physiotherapy and since completion of this she has undertaken additional training in dry needling, sports physiotherapy and pilates.

Starting out in a multidisciplinary private practice in Canberra, Dianne has always worked closely with osteopaths. Throughout the 2017 and 2018 seasons she also worked with the Canberra Raiders rugby league junior development squads prior to making the move back to Adelaide. 

Dianne loves the work that she does and thrives on assisting clients in managing and rehabilitating their injuries, as well as reaching their personal goals.

Dianne has a hands on approach to treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions including orthopaedic rehabilitation. Dianne is also adept in caring for sporting injuries, necks, shoulders, knees and ankles as well as advocating for women throughout pregnancy. 

Dianne is married to our wonderful osteopath Brendan, so when she isn’t at work she is kept busy running around after Brendan and their son Marlon at the skate park or going for walks with their two kelpies, Ziggy and Darla.

Rosalind completed her Bachelor of Clinical Sciences (Osteopathic Studies) and Master of Osteopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University in Lismore, NSW. After a career in marketing and needing a change, she became a yoga teacher which sparked her interest in osteopathy and how the body moves and works.

To get the best results in treatment, Roz takes a whole-body approach to treatment, looking at and addressing the patient's lifestyle and the body's structural components and interrelated biomechanics. She uses a range of techniques, including Muscle Energy Technique (MET), myofascial and soft tissue techniques, HVLA adjustment, and cranial to optimise the bodies natural healing capability. Roz is also trained in sports taping.

When she is not at Southside Clinic, you will find her outdoors, exploring Adelaide with friends and family or at delicious local cafes.

Josh is an Osteopath and Exercise Physiologist. He completed his Osteopathic qualifications at Southern Cross University in Lismore, NSW, and his Exercise Physiology qualification at the University of New England in Armidale, NSW. His treatments involve soft tissue, Muscle Energy Technique (MET), joint mobilisation, dry needling, and exercise prescription. He finds that the combination of Osteopathy and Exercise Physiology works well in managing patients' conditions, providing a unique insight into rehabilitation. 

Since 2015, Josh has focused his professional development towards understanding movement patterns and rehabilitation. The focus on functional movement screening and understanding developmental movement patterns in adults and rehabilitation settings assist in managing pain and improving quality of life.

Growing up in regional NSW, sport played a big role in Josh’s life. He competed at multiple Judo state titles, winning a country championship. While studying at the University of New England, he played rugby union and is currently involved in Judo, Brazillian Jujitsu (BJJ) and CrossFit.

Christine graduated as an Osteopath from Southern Cross University on the Gold Coast. After experiencing firsthand the impact injuries can have, Christine wanted to help others by reducing their pain and improving their performance. This led her to pursue remedial massage and osteopathic studies.

Christine enjoys treating a wide range of patients and musculoskeletal complaints. Her treatments are tailored to address individual patient needs and concerns and incorporate various techniques, including osteopathy in the cranial field (also known as craniosacral therapy), soft tissue massage, joint mobilisation, and joint manipulation. Whether addressing recent injuries or long-term conditions, Christine is passionate about helping patients return to doing what they love.

Christine is originally from the UK and lived in Qld for 13 years before relocating to Adelaide. When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find her exploring the city with her family or spending time with her two horses.

Andrea completed her osteopathic qualifications at Victoria University in Melbourne in 2000, and her Nutrition and Naturopathy Qualifications through AIAS (Australian Institute of Applied Sciences). Osteopathically, Andrea uses a variety of hands-on techniques such as soft-tissue release, joint mobilization, joint manipulation, visceral manipulation, cranial osteopathy and Trigger Point Dry Needling. Andrea has done extensive post-graduate training in Visceral Osteopathy, also called Visceral Manipulation, as well as Cranial Osteopathy. Andrea also offers Naturopathy and Nutrition appointments, where she loves the challenge of complex conditions including digestive issues, fatigue, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome/hypermobility and infertility.

Andrea was a professional dancer for 12 years, working overseas at the Moulin Rouge in Paris, Son Amar in Spain and Carnival Cruises in the USA. Because of this, Andrea treats many dancers and conducts pre-pointe and dance fitness assessments for dancers of all ages. Through this she advises dancers on Pilates based exercise programs to improve technique and strength. Andrea is trained in teaching Pilates and Yoga and she is a member of Osteopathy Australia.
